ABOUT ME

Hi!! Welcome to my page, and thank you so much for visiting! I’m a freelance, Philadelphia-based model, influencer and content creator with an interest in expanding my career to include acting. I’m currently seeking agency representation because although I’m very fortunate to receive many opportunities as a freelancer, I’m confident that I would have access to a broader scope of work when signed.

When did my passion for modeling, acting and creativity begin? If you take a look at my parents’ home videos and old pictures, you’ll see that it was at a very early age (cue videos and photos of me posing and prancing around in my mother’s old bridesmaid dresses and those little dress-up kits that had kitten heels for 5-year-olds). I have been and still am such a ham, and I love being in front of the camera. My first runway was at the ripe age of 3 when I walked the runway at a local mall show and proceeded to try and disrobe on the catwalk because the garments were itchy. Don’t worry - I haven’t done that since.

I modeled full-time for almost 3 years in NYC at the end of 2015, and it was a dream come true. My favorite experience was walking for designer Alex Vinash during NYFW in February 2016. Unfortunately, my self-doubt led me to not actively pursue getting signed with an agency, and I left the modeling world in 2017 to go back to my comfort zone in the corporate world of HR (I held jobs in marketing and HR from 2008-2014). How I wish I had more confidence and submitted to more agencies. My passion continued to pull at my heartstrings, so I modeled on occasion using PTO days from 2018-2021. A drastic turn in my health forced me to move back to my childhood home in late 2022. I am eternally grateful that my parents welcomed me back. After recovering in 2023, I realized I could not deny that my heart and soul lay with modeling, so I decided to fully pursue modeling, content creation and acting. Since then, I split my time between New York, NY, and Philadephia, PA.

Modeling makes me feel alive. It is my passion for so many reasons. First, it’s an art, and I appreciate all of the work, thoughtfulness and effort that goes into a campaign, which is sometimes just one single image. It’s the model’s job to truly make the vision come to life, and I love that challenge. It’s also my passion because I get to play a different role for every job, and I love to act! Sometimes it’s the single girl who is highlighting on-trend jewelry for a fun night out, sometimes it’s the sophisticated businesswoman who is showing that this epic pantsuit gives her a boost in confidence to rule boardroom, etc. Furthermore, I’m a social butterfly, so getting to constantly meet new, amazing and talented people is another aspect of modeling that energizes me. Traveling is another one of my passions, and modeling feeds beautifully into that. Lastly, it might seem surface-level, but I can’t deny it: I love modeling because I get to play dress-up! I get to have my hair and makeup done and wear amazing clothes/jewelry/accessories – I’m a fashion and beauty fiend!

What sets me apart from everyone else? I am an extremely versatile talent when it comes to resonating with many different types of audiences. My quirky, authentic, whimsical, trend-seeking and edgy aspects seem to land with younger generations. My authentic, grounded, professional and elegant sides, along with my age, have shown to appeal to older millennials and subsequent generations. Coupled with my multi-faceted personality, I’m at a prime age where I’m able to identify, which has translated through my work, with those younger, my age and older.

As for content creation, I’ve been fortunate to land many brand partnerships due to the following I gained on my social media platforms. I am so grateful for this, and I love engaging with my audience. I adore creating my own content because I’m able to showcase my many different sides: my edgy side, my sarcastic side, my demure side, my quirky side, my elegant side, etc. I love collaborating with brands because I enjoy the challenge of creating content that is aligned with the brand’s message while infusing my own personal touch, so that the final product is a true collaboration. I make it a point to only work with brands that I personally like. I would never promote a product that I have a negative experience with. Authenticity and transparency with my audience (and life in general) are part of my core values.

In my spare time, my interests include (and some of these I’m sure you won’t be surprised about from what I’ve written above):

  • Researching health, wellness, science, biohacking & technology (I entered my undergrad as a biology major, but ended up in marketing)

  • Figuring out how I can level up in my career

  • Patient advocacy

  • Traveling

  • Spending time with my friends and family

  • Shopping, but more so trying to replicate current trends with the pieces I already have. Mixing high- and low-end designers is one of my fortes (or so I’ve been told)

  • Dancing

  • Testing the latest beauty products and trends

  • Scoping out the latest fashion trends

  • Finding the newest restaurant and trying their signature dish

  • Trying my hardest to build muscle and strength

  • Reading

  • Self-improvement

  • Cooking

  • Philanthropy

Many of my interests result from being diagnosed with dermatomyositis in 2013 and then SLE overlap syndrome in 2018. I have been deeply humbled by this and learned more than I ever could have imagined. My life was truly flipped upside-down. I’m so grateful that I’ve learned how to manage these conditions through my care team and incorporating practices from my own research. I never thought when I was in the depths of my various diseases that I would be able to achieve what I have, and I am eternally grateful. Therefore, it is part of my mission to spread light to others with autoimmune conditions or chronic illnesses – to empower them to know that they are not defined by their conditions, that they must be their own advocates when it comes to health, and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
